Chris Dzikiti completed his mental health nurse training at City University London in 2002. Chris studied part-time for a nursing degree, and has completed a Masters in Transcultural Psychiatry, which gave him insight into how mental disorders and their treatment can be influenced by cultural and ethnic factors. He is currently studying an MSc in Strategic Health Management.
Chris has been a member of the NAPICU executive committee since 2011, and is the NAPICU lead for the collaboration work with the Design in Mental Health Network. Chris is one of the co-authors of the Design Guidance for Psychiatric Intensive Care Units 2017. He is a trainer in Smoking Cessation, HoNOS Adult Mental Health Clustering Tool and HoNOS secure rating scales.
Chris worked as a modern matron at East London NHS Foundation Trust, and was involved in developing women’s mental health services.
