Executive Committee Elections

In keeping with the NAPICU Constitution we held formal elections for the Executive Committee on Friday 7th September 2018 at our Annual General Meeting.

Members of the Executive Committee were elected into positions which were due for review.

The Executive Committee would like to formally announce the next NAPICU AGM will take place during the 24th Annual Conference on Friday 6th September 2019 at 09.10am. (We would like to extend our welcome to all members who are in attendance at the conference, and remind members you have the right to vote)

The positions for election in 2019 are:

  • Vice Chair (one of the Executive Committee Officer roles, also a charity trustee)
  • Director of Operations (one of the one Executive Committee Officer roles, also a charity trustee)
  • Treasurer (one of the one Executive Committee Officer roles, also a charity trustee)
  • Carer Representative
  • Executive Member without portfolio

Only NAPICU members are eligible to stand for election.

Members putting themselves forward for election to the Executive Committee should provide a statement of intent linked to the post, they require an Executive Committee member to propose their election and a member to second their proposal, and the membership should additionally cast a vote.
