Paul Birkett

Paul Birkett

Previously, as director of educational programmes, Paul Birkett took the lead on formulating NAPICU’s strategy on continuing professional development.  He oversaw the production of educational material, which is now available to NAPICU members online.

Paul is currently taking a sabbatical from NAPICU.

NAPICU is a not for profit multi-disciplinary organisation and is also a registered charity SC048876 committed to developing and promoting the specialty of psychiatric intensive care.

We are dedicated to improving service user experience and outcome, and to promoting staff support and development within Psychiatric Intensive Care Units and Low Secure Units.
