Professor and Consultant Neuro Gastroenterologist, UCL, UCLH & NHNN & Lead of the Workforce Race Equality Standard

Anton Emmanuel is a professor of neuro-gastroenterology at University College London and a consultant gastroenterologist at University College Hospital and Queen Square.

He is head of the WRES, with the focus of moving towards using local data to drive the adoption of evidence-based actions and hence embed local accountability with organisations. Simultaneous engagement with regulators to help drive this change is the other core component of the work in train.
