The National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care (NAPICU) has partnered with the University of Salford, for a ground-breaking research project that aims to shape the urgent and intensive care provision for children and young people experiencing mental health problems in the UK.
This two-afternoon virtual course is designed for staff working in a mental health setting who work with patients who are acutely unwell mentally. It will introduce the management of acute disturbance and discuss the key areas for treating, prescribing, and monitoring of medicines used for acute disturbance.
