NAPICU Conference 2020 Postponement Announcement

NAPICU Annual Conference

After careful monitoring of the COVID-19 situation, we have taken the difficult decision to reschedule this year’s annual conference to 22nd – 24th September 2021, at the same location Park Inn, Northampton. We are aware that you all will be working or affected by the current issues and as there is still so much uncertainty over the longevity of this issue it would be highly unlikely the event would be able to go ahead for the November dates.

As an organisation, we are focused on improving health and social care through supporting our members and delegates to deliver the best possible care to their patients, clients and service users. In light of the public health emergency and increasing demands across all of our services, along with guidance from government and employers across our sector, the Executive Committee has decided that having the alternative dates in September 2021 would be the best plan.

NAPICU plan to offer a number of online events over the next 6-9 months, starting with a webinar hosted by NAPICU chairman Dr Stephen Pereira and Mr Roland Dix discussing current issues including the Covid-19 guidance NAPICU produced and continues to update. Theses webinars including the mini quarterly meetings will be free to NAPICU members. Further details will be announced soon!

If you have already registered for the NAPICU 2020 conference we will be in touch shortly to transfer your registration to the 2021 conference.  If you have not yet registered for the conference you can do so on our website here.

We very much look to seeing you all in September 2021.

With Best Wishes

Dr Stephen Pereira
