Head of Nursing, South London, and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

Onyekachi is Head of Nursing and Quality for Behavioural and Developmental Psychiatry Directorate at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Onyekachi has experience of nursing in both male and female PICU and currently covers medium and low secure forensic services. Onyekachi has a special interest in reducing restrictive practice and had led on several quality improvement projects to enhance patient and staff safety and experience.

Sasha is a Quality Improvement Lead at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust supporting and leading several trust wide safety initiatives. Sasha also has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology and is using her knowledge in human behaviour, change management and coaching to help accomplish organisational goals. Sasha is passionate about patient safety and is keen to encourage teams to achieve positive change and sustained improvements using quality improvement methodology.
