National Improvement Director, NHS England

Seamus Watson works as a National Improvement Director with NHS England. Seamus started working in mental health services in the 1970’s.

He is an experienced, advanced nurse practitioner and has been a Government adviser, Director of Mental Health, Head of Children and Family services, and Head of Public Health. Throughout his career, Seamus has been driven to be a service user and carer advocate in his work and has a real desire to deliver complex change and challenge inequalities.
