Journal of Psychiatric Intensive Care
Psychiatric Intensive Care and Low Secure Units
The Journal of Psychiatric Intensive Care is devoted to issues affecting the care and treatment of people with mental disorders who manifest severely disturbed functioning. The journal is international and multidisciplinary. It provides stimulating papers and articles of interest to those who work in or study psychiatric intensive care, low secure services, acute inpatient wards, challenging behaviour environments, emergency psychiatry, or intensive treatments settings in other parts of the wider mental health system. The Journal of Psychiatric Intensive Care encourages informed debate and exchange of opinion. Its content includes editorials, original research, brief reports, reviews, conference reports, news and notices, but preference is given to original research of a high scientific quality.
Terms and Conditions
- All advertisements are subject to approval by NAPICU
- Payment for the advertisement will not be taken until approval has been granted
- The advertisement will remain live on the NAPICU website for 6 months from the date the advert is published on the website for web based adverts and for print adverts for one issue 6 months or for two issues printed in a 12 month period
- The advertisement fees are subject to change and additional VAT at the prevailing rate
- The content of the advertisement is the sole responsibility of the sponsor including any design elements that may be required
- A high resolution logo must be provided at the time of booking
- All advertisements will be sold on a first come first served basis once approved
- Submission deadlines, for March by the end of January and for the September issue by the end of June.

Format: Journal published in print and online. Print format: 280 x 210mm trimmed size. Distributed to senior staff and decision makers in key institutions.Web based only or combined
Rates: Advertising in the journal can be booked either as a web based advert or both web based combined with printed advert in the journal.
Term: Each advert will remain on the NAPICU Website for a period of 6 months from the date the advert is published. Space may be bought in the print edition of the journal for one issue or two consecutive issues.
