The NAPICU 28th Annual Conference, happening at the Mercure Hotel in Cardiff from September 17th to 19th, 2025.

This year, our theme is “Patient-Centred Care in the Era of Innovation and Change“ focusing on enhancing care practices for all individuals in psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs) and beyond.

"I am new to the PICU field, having become manager in 2023, with an acute background before then. I attended the NAPICU conference in 2023 shortly after starting in the role and found this very interesting as a new world of practice. The team and I were fortunate enough to be able to be able to present on a subject we are most interested in, and won the award for best oral presentation as a result. Following this, we have been in contact with multiple PICUs from around the country, had visits and have further visits planned.
