Who Can be nominated?
Any member from an LSU or PICU Service who are fully paid members of NAPICU can nominate a staff member for the recognition award 2024. Individual Members of the NAPICU Executive Committee may not be nominated.
How to Enter
Applicants are required to submit a statement of up to 300 words in support of their nominee.
While nominations are open to all staff within the PICU in recognition of their dedication and hard work, we strongly encourage nominators to select individuals who have made significant contributions to “Patient-Centred Care in the Era of Innovation and Technology,” aligning with the theme of the conference.
The submission should include a description of why this staff member is to be nominated.
Judging Criteria
The multi-disciplinary panel of independent judges will shortlist the nominees based on written submissions. Short listed nominee will be invited to attend the conference and will present the staff member recognition award at the Gala dinner on Thursday 18th September starting at 7.00pm (This is a ticketed event).
The Prize
The team selected as the NAPICU staff recognition award 2025 will receive a prize at the Gala Dinner Ceremony.

Shortlisted nominees will be contacted by Monday 16th June 2025.
Please note: It is the nominator’s responsibility to ensure that the staff member being nominated is aware of their nomination.
Shortlisted nominees ideally will attend the conference and gala dinner to accept the award in person. However, Should the nominee be unable to attend, a designated representative must be present on their behalf.
