Dr Aileen O’Brien is a Reader in Psychiatry and the Dean for Students St. George’s University of London. Having been a PICU consultant for many years, Aileen is now working in rehabilitation psychiatry.
Aileen has co-written several modules for Royal College website but more recently has developed a postgraduate module in emergency psychiatry run jointly with George’s and NAPICU. Aileen is now working on an online course in reducing restrictive practice. Aileen is the director of educational programmes for NAPICU.
